Our practice is conveniently located at the Madison Medical Centre in Umhlanga Ridge, Durban. From here we are perfectly positioned for ancillary medical services such as surgery and pathology amongst others.

Dr Marise Subrayan is a vibrant Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist based at the Madison Medical Centre, KZN. Her practice offers world class Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Aesthetic Gynaecology. The ethos of her practice is to encourage education and female empowerment, assisting women in making individualised, informed decisions about their physical, mental and sexual health. She has interests in hormonal disorders, sexual-dysfunction and Aesthetic Gynaecology.

Took my 15 year old to Dr Subrayan for her 1st gynaecology appointment ,and Dr Subrayan took her time explaining what would happen, step by step, that what could easily have resulted in a trauma for a 1st time visit, left my daughter feeling like she was in control the whole time and understanding why all the procedures were necessary. She was incredibly kind and gentle. She also gave my daughter several options for treatment and allowed her to choose which one she wanted.

Her office manager Andrea is professional, kind, courteous and super organised.

Recently I was forced to have a Hysterectomy in a hurry.
I can really recommend Marise as a Gynae - her enthusiasm for her work really shows through and her professional and thorough manner is really endearing. Dr Marise made me feel very comfortable, but most importantly, understood. The rooms are hygienic, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. I am always very satisfied after consulting with Dr Marise. I highly recommend Dr Subrayan for anybody that is looking for a Gynea. Since I have been her patient nothing has been to much trouble for her. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns during my consultation with her and she was very thorough. From the first appointment I sensed that she loves what she does and that in her practice you are not just a number.
Andrea, Dr Subrayan's office manager also goes the extra mile and nothing is to much effort for her.

Dr Subrayan has a wonderful bedside manner and is very thorough in her questions and examination. She answered all my queries with really informative & clear replies and even gave suggestions on things I hadn't thought of to ask. As for the physical examination - well no woman looks forward to that, but I gotta say that I barely felt it. It was the easiest, most comfortable and thorough Pap Smear I have ever had, with constant communication about what she was doing. I would definitely recommend visiting her.

What an amazing person! My recent experience with Dr Subrayan was such a pleasure. She is young, smart as a whip, has a keen sense of humour but above all is very caring. This morning,I took my daughter to Doctor Marise Subrayan a gynecologist and obstetrician at the Well,Ballito. I must commend her for her skill and expertise. She was thorough, gentle, patient and polite. Doctor Subrayan asked many questions and answered ours. She was highly intelligent and displayed complete insight into the challenges that my daughter faced.
